Established full service optical clinic in the growing Kawartha Lakes region would like to add an enthusiastic, skilled Licensed Optician to our team. Independently owned and operated, our office has a rich history and loyal clientele, where customer service is paramount.
Applicants should have:
Exceptional communication skills
Patience
Excellent listening skills
Availability of 30 hours/week
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses, all skills related to dispensing are required.
Applicants must be able to complete contact lens fittings unassisted, including insertion and removal teaching.
Lab skills a strong asset as we complete all our own lab work on a daily basis.
Adjustments, repairs, as well as emergency repairs are also part of our daily responsibilities.
Compensation is based on experience. Only Licensed Opticians in good standing with the College of Opticians of Ontario need apply.
