Akber Optical is a longstanding business in Burlington, Ontario with 30+ years of service and quality care for our clients. We are looking for a licensed optician to provide full-time support to our team.
Responsibilities: Take measurements, fit, adjust, repair & dispense eyeglasses, contact lenses and specialty eyewear, within the guidelines of the College of Opticians of Ontario (or equivalent); Assist customers in selecting products to best suit their needs; Perform effectively when working independently in store; Conduct administrative duties, including completing orders, scheduling appointments, and following-up with clients by phone
Qualifications: Graduated from licensed Opticianry program; Knowledge of latest trends, customer demands; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Experience with sales; Highly capable use of technology to manage orders, inventory, client files; Highly organized
Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year experience working in optical setting
