Receptionist / Frame stylist position available at St. Catharines, Ontario
Speer Opticians is located in St. Catharines for over 45 years running.
We offer the leading European and Japanese lines to the Canadian market ahead of the curve.
We are looking for a Receptionist / Frame Stylist, with a background in the Optical / Eyecare Industry, for the following duties:
Schedule appointments for our busy office for the Opticians.
Be presentable, as you will be the face of Speer Opticians when greeting our Guests.
Be fashion oriented and comfortable with helping people.
Be a fast learner, or already know, of basic optical terminology.
Answering the phone and deal with issues accordingly.
Have the ability to clean and maintain the showroom floor as needed.
Have good organizational and computer skills, previous skills with IFILE an asset.
Check and organize emails and address accordingly.
Be capable of processing payments and putting through insurance claims and receive payments.
The hours are Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Starting salary, depending on previous experience, is 20.00 to 25.00 an hour. We do not have an Optometrist on site.
