The Ontario Opticians Association has been the voice of opticians for 79 years.
We have made a commitment to our members to speak on your behalf, but also to listen to all of you.
This year we will no longer offer a blended membership. Due to this change we are able to offer Ontario Opticians a reduced rate for 2025 and the forseable future.
The new membership fee will be $100.00(+HST) for 2025

FREE PROFESSIONAL ERRORS & OMISSIONS LIABILITY INSURANCE
Together with BrokerLink, the OOA is proud to provide a FREE* $1,000,000.00 personal Professional Liability Insurance policy that protects its members from lawsuits for damages claimed by a third party, resulting from a professional error or omission or negligent act, committed during the course of their activities as an Optician.

The College of Opticians of Ontario requires that Opticians carry their own personal Professional Liability Insurance policy to obtain and maintain their license.
​
Opticians who wish to obtain more coverage can upgrade to a $3,000,000.00 or $5,000,000.00 PLI policy by selecting that option.
