Website & OOAcademy Updates Underway

Dear OOA Members and Visitors,

We are excited to share that we are currently updating and refreshing both the Ontario Opticians Association website (ontario-opticians.com) and our OOAcademy learning platform (ooa.learnworlds.com).

These improvements are part of our commitment to delivering a modern, professional, and user-friendly digital experience that better reflects the Ontario Opticians Association and its membership. You’ll soon notice cleaner navigation, up-to-date content, reduced redundancy, and an easier-to-use learning environment on OOAcademy.

Important Note: While we work through these updates, you may occasionally encounter broken links, error messages, outdated information, or pages that are temporarily unavailable. Many of these changes are being implemented in real time, so what you see today may look different tomorrow.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition period. Our goal is to complete the majority of these improvements quickly while minimizing disruption to your experience.
