Dr. Nisara Bandali completed a Doctor of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in Boston, prior to that she received her Bachelor of Medical Science degree in Medical Cell Biology at the University of Western Ontario.
Dr. Nisara Bandali
She practices full-scope optometry and provides eye care to patients of all ages. She has actively participated in vision screening programs for children at schools in lower-income areas and volunteers at community events such as Special Olympics.
In this 2-part episode, Lorne & Martin sat down with Dr. Nisara Bandali to discuss common eye disorders, vision care for the elderly, and nutrition to help maintain good eye health.

Jim is the Executive Director of the Canadian Council of the Blind (CCB) & Monica is the Manager of the Mobile Eye Clinic, a vision care project that the CCB has coordinated to deliver eye exams to at-risk populations.
This episode is inspired by the 5-year Strategic Plan from the World Health Organization revolving vision care around the world.
