Job Title: Licensed Optician – Forest Eye Care (New Clinic in Gananoque)
Location: Gananoque, Ontario
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Forest Eye Care is a brand-new, independently owned optometry clinic opening in Gananoque, Ontario. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, personalized vision care in a warm, modern environment with full-scope services—including a strong focus on contact lenses and specialty lens fittings such as sclerals and RGPs.
As the optometrist-owner, I’m passionate about mentorship, collaboration, and professional growth. You won’t just be filling a role—you’ll be helping shape how the clinic operates, from the look and feel of the dispensary to how we serve our community.

Your Responsibilities:
Fit and dispense contact lenses, providing education and follow-up support
Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that match their needs and style
Perform accurate fittings, repairs, and adjustments
Manage frame inventory, ordering, and visual merchandising
Work collaboratively with the optometrist to ensure excellent patient care and a seamless clinic experience
What We’re Looking For:
Licensed Optician in good standing with the College of Opticians of Ontario
Must be able to fit contact lenses
Willing and eager to learn specialty contact lens fitting (training provided)
Motivated, personable, and excited about working in a new, evolving environment
Experience with optical sales or dispensary setup is an asset but not required
