We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and relationship-driven Optometric Relations Consultant/Patient Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, professional relationship building, and community outreach. This individual will play a key role in strengthening relationships within the Optometric community, increasing brand awareness, and supporting the continued growth of our surgical center.

Key Responsibilities·

* Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with Optometrists and clinic staff throughout London/ Ottawa and surrounding areas.·

*Act as an ambassador for the surgical center within the Optometric community.· Identify opportunities to grow referral partnerships and strengthen existing referral networks.·

Manage and successfully execute Continuing Medical Education Programs.· Manage call cycles for referring Optometrists to ensure consistent touch points with offices.·

* Coordinate and host Lunch and Learn events with the Optometry community.· Represent the clinic at community events, networking opportunities, and professional meetings.·

* Build brand awareness through consistent outreach and relationship management.· Assist with marketing initiatives and outreach campaigns targeting the Optometric community.·

*Promote new technologies, procedures, and educational opportunities to referral partners.· Answer patient questions and provide clarification regarding our services.

* Counsel patients on LASIK, PRK, ICL, Corneal Cross-Linking, Refractive Lens Exchange, and Premium Cataract Procedures.·

*Provide pre-screening consultations with patients when required.·

* Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications & Skills·

*Strong interpersonal and communication skills·

* Outgoing, confident, and professional demeanor·

* Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships·

* Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills·

* Comfortable working independently and managing a territory·

* Strong presentation and networking abilities· Sales or business development experience considered a strong asset·

Experience

* Minimum 2 years' experience in Optometry, Ophthalmology, or a related healthcare field preferred.

*Optician experience or similar in the Optical field

* Previous experience in outside sales, territory management, or business development preferred·

*Experience building professional relationships within health care environment
