About the Role:
We’re looking for a Licensed Optician who is experienced, self-motivated, and passionate about both vision care and the art of eyewear. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative, high-touch environment and who understands the nuances of working with independent luxury frames — from fitting and adjustments to styling and patient education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert optical dispensing, lens consultations, and frame styling
• Perform eyewear measurements, adjustments, and fittings with precision and care
• Educate patients on lens options and frame craftsmanship, especially in the luxury and independent space
• Assist with inventory curation, merchandising, and brand storytelling in the dispensary
• Collaborate with the optometric team to ensure a seamless patient experience
• Help foster a warm, professional, and welcoming atmosphere for patients of all ages
What We’re Looking For:
• Licensed and in good standing with the College of Opticians of Ontario
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in optical dispensing
• Deep familiarity and appreciation for independent eyewear brands
• Strong sense of style and the ability to translate that into personalized frame styling
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• A collaborative team player who also thrives with autonomy
• Bonus: Experience with specialty lenses or myopia management is an asset

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: hourly wage between $25.00 and $32.00, with final compensation determined by level of experience, technical & sales ability, and familiarity with independent eyewear
